CalPoets' First Friday Community Meeting, March 1 

All past and present California Poets in the Schools' Poet-Teachers, and interested members of the public, are welcome to attend the 1st Friday Community Meeting, during the lunch hour.  In March, we will be offered two poetry workshop lessons provided by Mariam Ahmed and Fernando Salinas.

Embark on a poetic journey where dreams come alive through words. In this engaging lesson led by Mariam Ahmed from San Diego County, discover the art of crafting dream-inspired poetry. 

Fernando Salinas will provide a 3-part lesson plan that encourages students to consider "Our Roots of Belonging" in these challenging times; a crucial reflection for personal well-being, social cohesion, and the celebration of cultural diversity.
