Mariam Ahmed is a Californian poet. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in English Literature with a minor in Sociology from the University of California, Davis, followed by an MFA in Poetry from San Diego State University.
Mariam’s book of poems, “Moments of Astral Projection,” was published by The Offending Adam in 2021. Her individual poems have appeared and are forthcoming poems in “Panorama: The Journal of Travel, Place, and Nature,” “Maintenant: A Journal of Contemporary Dada Art and Writing” by Three Rooms Press, “Flint Hills Review,” “Folly Journal,” and several other publications, both online & in print.
Mariam currently lives in San Diego, CA, where she visits the ocean often to write poems in the sand.
