MARIN'S LILY BOGAS WINS CALIFORNIA'S POETRY OUT LOUD COMPETITION

Lily Bogas of Tamalpais High School was named the champion of the California 2019 Poetry Out Loud competition.  Lily's coach Claire Blotter, a Poet-Teacher in Marin with California Poets in the Schools was Lily's Poet-Coach and helped her prepare her poems for the competition.  Lily performed three poems like a pro at the California finals and will now be traveling to Washington, DC, for the National Finals at Lisner Auditorium at The George Washington University on April 29th through May 1st to compete for the top prize of $20,000.  Congratulations Lily!
