Marin Poets in the Schools participated in their annual poetry reading for Mill Valley students sponsored by their major supporter, KIDDO at Edna Maguire School in their lovely garden on June 5, 2019. 20 students from Tam Valley, Park, Strawberry Point and Old Mill read their beautiful poems stationed among the fruit trees, herbs and vegetables as parents, family members and friends perused the garden stopping at each spot to hear a student read. Before the reading began, Bill Lampl, director of KIDDO addressed the parents the importance of poetry to the overall learning capability in students. Terri Glass and Claire Blotter were on hand to answer questions about the program and support the students who were there.
